Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with large patio

Homely, spacious home in Valletta Positive: It was homely, spacious and comfortable. It had great air-conditioning. It was close to lots of shops, restaurants and public transport. Full kitchen facilities and washing machine and iron. It is on a very busy street full of outdoor restaurants but the bedrooms are at the back of the property so you don't hear any noise. There is an outdoor patio and one of the bedrooms has an ensuite. We'd be happy to stay there again. Negative: The lights had a mind of their own and occasionally acted like strobe lights! There are stairs to the first floor (which we already knew about), so if you have mobility issues, this place would not suit. This is a lovely home, but if you're looking for a 5 star, flashy place, maybe not for you.

Had a blast - would definitely go again. Positive: The location could not have been better - right in the middle of the beautiful old town of Valetta yet still quiet. I loved the courtyard for some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle. Communications with the property managers were really easy and we were given a great recommendation for a lovely local restaurant. Negative: The lights seemed to be on a complicated system which we never quite worked out and as a result the apartment was a little dark in the bedrooms. The aircon in the master bedroom wasn't quite cool enough.

Large 2-bed apartment perfectly located to access old town & transport Positive: This 2 double bedroom apartment is spacious & comfortable with a large kitchen and sitting room. The bedrooms are at the back of the property which is perfect since the apartment is located on the busy Merchant Street with lots of bars & restaurants which can be very noisy. The doors to the kitchen & sitting room when closed provide good noise insulation. It’s perfectly located for all the sights in old town Valletta & easy access to all ferry ports as well as the bus terminal. The kitchen included some basic staples for home cooking. The hosts provided clear instructions & helped to arrange airport transfers. They also responded immediately to a small maintenance issue. Negative: Personal preference only, the beds were a little soft.
