Valletta Harbour View Appartment

Nice apartment with a great view! Positive: The apartment has a great view and the washing machine is a massive bonus with written instructions that make it very easy to use. Self check in was easy and the lady was great in her communications and the booking of the taxi driver for our pick up from the airport..George was an absolute legend and he dropped a us a few times! Negative: Very difficult to navigate the narrow entry stairway with luggage if you are not fit and able..maybe this could be mentioned in the details with a photo..the balcony looks much bigger on the photos..it is very small, so dont assume two people can sit there together for drinks! Only one chair and one person fits there!

Very central but tatty and poorly equipped for the price paid. Positive: Excellent central location in Valetta - all the main city sights, bars, restaurants, shops and the bus and ferry points were easily walkable. Magnificent views over the Grand Harbour from the tiny balcony. The owner arranged early access for us which was much appreciated as we had been travelling since midnight due to very antisocial Ryanair flight times. Negative: All rather tatty and poorly equipped. Flaking paintwork, curling up laminate flooring, poor quality bed linen, old and worn out settee and chairs. Many ‘basics’ were missing including a tea towel, sharp knives, dustpan, waste bin lid and coffee machine. Tiny bathroom with no ventilation, miniature hand basin, no shelves or hooks, limited hot water. It was impossible to use the shower without drenching everything. But we coped for four nights and had a great minibreak!

An amazing, memorable stay Positive: The apartment has the most amazing view. It was absolutely wonderful waking to glorious sunshine streaming through the balcony doors and chilling as night fell, watching the boats & liners come and go. The apartment is small, but perfectly formed. Bed comfortable. Very easy access on our arrival and we were able to leave our bags after 10.30. Returning for the official 14.00 check in. The apartment is only a few minutes from all the action, but in a quiet part of town, being situated in a dead end near the Barracka and Gozo & Three Cities Ferry. Negative: The apartment does need a little TLC. The flooring tiles are curling a little and a pair of scissors would be handy in the kitchen, as would some additional decent hangers. But that's nit picking because everything else was just fine. One downer however, was the person staying in the apartment above us moving furniture around at 3 am on our last night. Hopefully that was a one off.

Positive: Definetly the location. Close to shops, resturants, boats and ferry. Air conditioning that worked very well. Nice and compact. Awesome view. Taxi service friendly and convienent for us. Negative: Respect due to historical building however lots of debris from stonework. Floor wearing
