GB Suite 2 - Valletta Collection

Great! Positive: We really liked the location, and the host provided all the necessary information on time. There were no issues at all. The accommodation is nice, clean, and well-equipped, with everything needed for the two days we stayed. It felt safe, and we genuinely liked it. Negative: /

Excellent stay! Positive: Perfect for my short 3 day vacation. Clean and comfortable stay. Well maintained properly. Right next to the supermarket. Only downside could be the noise from the street below on Saturday especially. But it wasn't a problem for me as I had my earplugs.

Well located, perfect little apartment Positive: Excellent location and clear instructions from Valletta Collection team. I was travelling solo for a conference and really appreciated all the information and help with arranging a pick up from airport. Apartment itself worked well, easy to connect to wifi and came with useful items like hairdryer, iron etc. Shower was hot and bed was comfy.

I really enjoyed my stay. Very safe. Cosy, clean. Great location. Positive: I loved the location. Walking distance to everything. Apartment was cosy and on a shopping/restaurant street. If you are a light sleeper-bring earplugs as the party never ends :-) Negative: nothing. Loved everything.

Overall, we had a great holiday. Loved Valletta! Positive: Absolutely fantastic location! Right in the heart of the City. Easy to get anywhere. A supermarket practically on doorstep was very handy. Great bars and restaurants on doorstep too. Parallel with the main shopping street. Couldn’t have been better location-wise. Easy to walk (hilly) to ferry to Gozo, small taxi/boat to Sliema. Live music in many bars/restaurants - again all on the doorstep. Went to a rocky beach where we could swim/get into water via steps or platform and popped to St Elmo’s kitchen for a drink and bite to eat at lunchtime which had great views overlooking the harbour. Worth visiting. Having the small balconies was lovely as could get the last of the afternoon sunshine with a beer and watch the busy street below. Also very helpful and appreciated the informative email from host regarding the sites, ferry info, restaurant recommendations etc. Thanks for that. We visited the fish restaurant you recommended and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Negative: On several nights it was noisy until the small hours with people chatting. Not surprising as restaurants with outside seating directly below the apartment. The first night it was annoying but got used to it and may have been unlucky with a few loud customers. Some nights it was quiet before midnight. Bathroom was lacking in hooks to hang towels and nowhere to put toothbrush etc. Basin could do with being larger. Bathroom could benefit from updating. Sheets/pillowcases were not good, they were cheap polyester mix - and looked tired. A blanket would have been appreciated as I was cold one night and the duvet in cupboard didn’t have a cover and didn’t look very appealing so we didn’t use it. Decor was a little tired in parts. Small improvements that that could easily improve the comfort and feel of the apartment and make a more enjoyable stay.
